A generous offer?

Laith begins his journey searching for a new phone. But, because he doesn’t have enough money, his friend Qaynuqa comes up with a seemingly generous offer: "I can lend you the money!" At first, Laith feels thankful, but then he says "no"! What made Laith change his mind?
It's just a card game!

On his way home, Laith meets Qaynuqa who invites him to play a card game with their other friends. However, after a short conversation, Laith decides not to join them. Why didn’t Laith want to play? Is there something wrong with the game?

Laith is enjoying his time by the lake, feeding the ducks, when suddenly Qaynuqa shows up with exciting news: "You can get a phone for just $1!" Something doesn't feel right for Laith. "It is too good to be true!" He thinks to himself. Is it though?
